At nine games over .500 the Sox have already reached a season high, but a win today would put the team 10 games over for the first time since September 25, 2010 when they were 82-72 and would go on to finish the season 88-74.
Something tells me if the Sox finish 88-74 again this season they won't be 6 games behind anybody in the division like they were then.
