Anybody up for a sweep? The White Sox send Chris Sale to the mound this afternoon, who looked better than every starter in his first start of the season against Cleveland, until Jake Peavy's performance on Monday. Detroit will be starting Rick Porcello, who pitched well in his first start, but is 2-4 with a 6.91 ERA in 7 career starts against the White Sox.
He's been slightly better at The Cell, and I mean slightly, going 1-1 with a 6.88 ERA in 3 starts.
Oh, and let's not forget, today is the first day the Sox will break out the 72 throwbacks.
