| TEAM | RECORD | STARTER | NUMBERS | START TIME |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| WHITE SOX | 10-11 | Gavin Floyd | 1-3 3.60 ERA | 1:10 PM CT |
| RED SOX | 10-10 | Josh Beckett | 2-2 4.56 ERA |
So last night I wondered how much longer the Sox would be willing to put up with Gordon Beckham and Brent Morel both in the lineup, and today those two have been replaced by Eduardo Escobar and Brent Lillibridge. That's the good news.
The bad news is that Paul Konerko is also out of the lineup with a stiff neck. Which means that an offense that has struggled all year will be without the man that has provided nearly 20% (31 of 174, 17.8%) of their hits this season.
More good news: Gavin Floyd is 6-0 with a 3.47 ERA in 7 career starts against Boston. The bad news is that means he's due for a loss!
Today's Bet: White Sox +115
Total: $99.20
