White Sox Cut 14 More From The Roster

See you next spring, Jared
Want a better idea of which players will be breaking camp with the White Sox and which ones won't be? Well, if you look at the 14 players that the White Sox assigned to minor league camp on Monday following the 1-0 loss to the Reds, it becomes a lot clearer.

Here's who got the bad news on Monday.
  • Nestor Molina
  • Jared Mitchell
  • Trayce Thompson
  • Ozzie Martinez
  • Jhan Marinez
  • Anthony Carter
  • Deunte Heath
  • Donnie "Babymeat" Veal
  • Simon Castro
  • Pedro Hernandez
  • Charlie Leesman
  • Jose Quintana
  • Michael Blanke
  • Tyler Kuhn
What does this mean for the roster? Well, as has been apparent for a while now, the last position player spot is going to either Eduardo Escobar or Dan Johnson.

As for the bullpen, it won't be any of the new additions from trades as Molina, Hernandez and Castro are all headed to the minors. Which is very good news for guys like Hector Santiago, Dylan Axelrod, Zach Stewart, Nathan Jones and Brian Bruney.

  1. Trayce Thompson and Jhan Marinez should have to serve 50 game suspensions for performance-enhancing silent consonants.

Feel free to vent about how much any player sucks, but no hate speech directed at anybody, be it a player or a fellow commenter.
