Spring Training Pitchers Power Poll: Week 3

Much like the Hitters Power Poll, there were no changes to the formula this week. There also isn't any change at the top as Chris Sale once again stands above his peers, even if he weighs roughly half as much as they do.

Much like with the hitters, "B" games and minor league games don't count toward the rankings.

RANKPLAYER POINTS LW+/-
Chris Sale 34 1 7
Nathan Jones 33 4 17
Brian Bruney 31 2 13
Phil Humber 24 11 16
Hector Santiago 22 3 5
Zach Stewart 20 6 5
Gavin Floyd 19 86
Addison Reed 19 9 7
Dylan Axelrod 18 4 2
Eric Stults 17 6 2
Will Ohman 15 11 7
Jake Peavy 11 10 0
John Danks 11 26 13
Matt Thornton 8 17 2
Nestor Molina 8 11 0
Jose Quintana 8 11 0
Deunte Heath 7 15 0
Pedro Hernandez 7 15 0
Leyson Septimo 5 21 2
Jesse Crain 4 18 0
Simon Castro 4 18 0
Greg Infante 4 18 0
Brandon Kloess 3 24 3
Jhan Marinez 2 22 0
Anthony Carter 2 22 0
Donnie Veal 0 24 0
Brian Omogrosso -5 27 0
Charlie Leesman -6 14 0

Jake Peavy was the biggest victim of minor league games not counting, and John Danks would have climbed even higher had they counted as well.

Phil Humber definitely got a nice boost thanks to his start last week, leading all Sox pitchers except for Nathan Jones in points with 16.

Also, if the Sox were to use this chart to decide the final spots in the bullpen -- and Kenny said over the weekend that Hector Santiago is in it, which anybody with half a brain already knew, but the confirmation was nice -- then Nathan Jones and Brian Bruney would be packing their things for Chicago.
