Spring Training Game #27: White Sox 3 Dodgers 1

At this time next week we'll all be getting ready for the real games to start. At the moment, we have more spring training baseball, and while I'm growing rather tired of it, there were some interesting things to take away from today's win.

  • I got your bullpen right here. The White Sox are being SUPER TOP SECRET about the closer role and the bullpen in general, but in today's game Chris Sale was followed by Santiago, Reed, Crain and then Thornton. You should probably get used to that.
  • Speaking of Chris Sale. More of that please! Sale lasted 6 innings and allowed only 4 hits while striking out 7, including Matt Kemp 3 times.
  • I enjoy seeing Trayce Thompson hit home runs. I hope I get to see a lot more of them in the future.
  • I don't enjoy seeing Dayan Viciedo fall down in the outfield nearly as much. Okay, maybe I do. He fell on his boom boom!

  1. Viciedo can fall down all he wants as long as his bat starts going boom boom when the games start to count
