Suck it, AL Central foes!
Seriously, I'm ready for the regular season to just start. Trying to find important things to write about in these spring training games is getting to be quite a chore.
THOUGHTS AND THINGS
- Zach Stewart wasn't terrible. He's still fighting for a bullpen spot, right? I've lost track. Stewart threw 5.1 innings and allowed only a run with a strikeout.
- Congrats on your first home runs of 2012. Brent Morel and Alejandro De Aza both went deep for the first time this spring. So I suppose that means we've reached the September of spring training.
- Continuing with the late season theme. Kosuke Fukudome treats spring the same way he does the regular season. He got off to a real hot start, but after going 0-for-4 today his average has dropped to .231 on the spring.
- Paul Konerko is still hitting everything in sight. Paulie went 2-for-3 on Tuesday and his average this spring is now up to .380.
- Eduardo Escobar is resting on his laurels! On the same day he was basically guaranteed a roster spot, Escobar went 0-for-4 and saw his average drop to a pathetic .421. Get your head back in the game, Eduardo!

Another fine article my friend
