You may be under the impression that since Kenny Williams hasn't traded anybody since New Years, The Great White Sox Rebuild Of 2012 may be over. And you might be right. The team has already said goodbye to Mark Buehrle, Carlos Quentin, Sergio Santos and Jason Frasor this winter.
Maybe that's it. After all, the guy who was the most tradeable asset, John Danks, signed an extension. However, that just means Gavin Floyd has become Kenny's most valuable trade chip, and apparently that door is still open.
According to Jon Morosi, the White Sox are still taking offers on Gavin.
#WhiteSox still listening to offers on Gavin Floyd, sources say.
Is this information we can trust? I'm not sure. Yes, Morosi does work for the mainstream media and has some actual sources, but is he married to anybody who is related to Gavin Floyd or lives next door to him?
We don't know. Morosi isn't talking.
Which begs the question, what's Jon Morosi trying to hide from us?
Is there a dark secret in Morosi's past?
Is he a serial killer?
Probably, sources say.
