They Play Baseball In October? - Dean Martin Jokes Are The Best Jokes

Every day during the MLB postseason, NotHawk will "recap" the games that took place the day before. Just so you don't have to watch, because he's charitable like that.

In Napoliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii...

When ball meet bat....

That ball go far....

And the Rays loooooose.

The good news for Tampa Bay is that with his two home runs last night, Desmond Jennings earned himself a nice $150 million deal from the Red Sox in ten years.

Texas leads the series 2-1

All jokes aside, I've never seen a pitcher look so dominant while giving up four runs like the way Justin Verlander did last night. Holy shit. Verlander's strategy of throwing 100 MPH through 8 innings was a lot more effective than CC Sabathia's "I'm gonna walk everybody and then get some double plays" strategy. And it's always nice to see Derek Jeter strike out to end the game with the tying run in scoring position.

Don't worry, Yankee fans, you have A.J. Burnett pitching tomorrow in an elimination game! What could go wrong?

Detroit leads the series 2-1
